	Trained for Carnatic music (Vocal) under Sangeeth Naatak Akademi Awardee Shrimathi.Suguna Varadachari. 
An All India Radio (AIR) Chennai artist with B high grade, and a regular performer at the AIR.
	Has sung in TV for SVBC channels Nada Neerajanam program.
	Regular performer at the December music festival in Chennai.
	Has performed in major organizations such as Music Academy, Brahma Gana Sabha, Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Karthik Fine Arts, to name a few.
	Recently, Roopa had performed for the Pallavi Darbar, Chennai organized by Carnatica and Parthasarathy swami sabha in July 2017.
	Recieving an award sai Chemmal this music season 2017 from Trinity Fine Arts Festival.
	Has performed in different parts of India in reputed organizations such as the Fine Arts Society, Chembur (Mumbai), Ganakala Vidya Nilayam (Goregoan,Mumbai), Saraswati Gana Sabha Regd (Kakinada), Friends Fine Arts Association (Vizianagaram), and Saptaparni (Hyderabad).
	Her concerts have been well reviewed in the Hindu, Deccan Chronicle and other reputed regional papers.
	Music in Hong Kong:  Promotes Carnatic music in Hong Kong by conducting music programs on Shri.Thyagaraja Swami, Shri Muthuswami Dikshitar ,Shri Shyama Shastry, Shri Annamacharya, Shri Purandara Dasa, and other saint composers. Presented a full fledged Carnatic concert with complex rhythms in Carnatic music with Ragam Tanam Pallavi.
