Chitravina N. Ravikiran (born 12 February 1967) is an Indian musician, considered one of the most celebrated prodigies and musicians. A slide instrumentalist, vocalist from age 5 composer, guru, author & orator, he is also the creator of the concept Melharmony in world music. Son and disciple of revolutionary "prodigy-maker" Chitravina Narasimhan, he is the grandson of famous musician Gotuvadyam Narayan Iyengar.

Chitravina N Ravikiran  hailed as the Mozart of Indian Music (Wisconsin State Journal & Belgium Television) who "Gave a new meaning to the word, prodigy" (NPR, USA) and brought New audiences to Indian music" (CNN Television), debuted as a child prodigy at the age of two, gave vocal concerts from age 5 and recitals on the 21-stringed slide chitravina, from age 11.  Renowned as Perhaps the greatest slide player in the world today (Radio Australia) for his Teasing precision and dazzling effects (New York Times), Ravikiran is one of India's busiest artists enthralling audiences in major festivals and venues across the world.

Acclaimed for his revolutionary concept in world music, Melharmony  Ravikiran has composed for and collaborated with top Western Classical, Jazz/Rock and World music artists and orchestras including members of the BBC Philharmonic, Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra and Cleveland Opera.  Youngest to win the President of India's Award for artistic excellence, Ravikiran has also won Citations from Cities of Houston, Tulsa and been awarded Melharmony Day Proclamations from Cities of Madison & Middleton, apart from numerous awards across India, USA, UK, Australia etc.  In Jan 2016, Ravikiran made world history by setting to music the entire 1330 Tirukkural verses of ancient Tamil poetry in just 16 hours. He has nearly 750 compositions to his credit including operatic productions like Ramayana, Mahabharata & Almighty Trinity. He credits all success to his gurus Acharya Ratnakara Narasimhan and Sangita Kalanidhi T Brinda.
