A talented violinist with a zeal towards continuous development of professional pace with an experience of performing over 1,000 concerts as an accompanist, a solo violinist and as a vocalist in various styles of music. Born in 1978, his life has been soaked in melody from the very beginning. Growing up in a traditional South Indian family background, at the age of 5, he started learning his basics in vocal music from his musician mother Smt. Hema Sivasubamanian. His musical instincts were further honed by vocalists Sri. N. Rangarajan, Sri. M. Ramalingam, Sri. Kunchitapada Iyer and Sri. O. S. Thyagarajan. He started learning Carnatic music through violin from Thiruvarur Sri. S. Santhanam at his tender age of seven. Then he experienced some very good techniques in the instrument through Nellai Sri. E. Shanmughanathan, Kulacchal Sri. V. Srinivasan, Sri. Tulasi Raman and also from Sri. Vittal Ramamurthy He is really fortunate to be taken under the wings of Sangeetha Kalanidhi, Padma Bhushan Prof. T. N. Krishnan - exemplary musician, esteemed violinist and an extraordinary human. He started his musical career in the Mecca of Music, Chennai during 2002 after his studies in MSc (I.T) from Annamalai University and M. Music from Madras University and performed in Thyaga Brahma Gana Sabha the very same year. From then on he has played in almost all the prestigious sabhas in the country like The Music Academy, The Indian Fine Arts Society, Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, Naradha Gana Sabha, The Mylapore Fine Arts Club, Brahma Gana Sabha, Nadha Inbham and The Shanmukanandha Sabha and Chembur Fine Arts, Mumbai, Gayana Samajam, Bangalore, Sangeeta Parishad, Mangalore, Rasika Ranjana Sabha, Kolkata , Delhi Tamil Sangam, New Delhi to name a few. His accompanying technique is very unique and subdued in which his playing will be in such a way that it enhances and supports the core artists for which he is one of the most sought after violinists.
