Heramba Hemantha, the twin brothers were born to Sri Ambale Satyaprasad and Smt. Alakananda on 16th July, 1996. They are two of the most promising flautists in the Carnatic music scenario today. They are currently studying Information Science Engineering at JIT, Bangalore (II year). Heramba Hemantha hail from a rich cultural tradition. They are the grandsons of Bhakthi Sangeetha Ratna Sri Ambale Subbarao, an esteemed Musician, cultural personality, writer and guru. Their aunt, Vid. Ambale Rajeshwari is one of the senior most dance gurus of Mysore Bharatanatyam Tradition. Their father, Ambale Satyaprasad is a mridangist of known merit. Their other aunt Vidushi Late Bharati Shyamanna was a scholarly musician. Being born in a musical family, they developed a sound taste in music and started learning music at the age of 7.
