M S Subbulakshmi Fellowship Awardee from Sri Shanmughananda Fine arts and Sangeetha Sabha, Mumbai is very unassuming little artist is one of the most noted and promising young violinists in Kerala. He hails from Alankode, a remote village in Malappuram. He was initiated into violin lessons by his uncle, his mentor, a violin teacher, Shri Surendran Alankode. Now under the expert guidance of renowned violinist from Chennai, Smt, A Kanyakumari. The first prize winner V.S. Gokul but stood apart with the way he rendered Swara Raga Sudha.., a gem in Sankarabharanam from the Tyagaraja Kriti. bagged the first prize with an A grade with the confidence he gained from over 100 concerts.
