Smt. Poornima Arvind is a Carnatic Vocalist, daughter and disciple of Smt. Meena Krishnan and is carrying forward the third generation in this field. She is a "B High" Artist of All India Radio. Holds a Masters Degree in Music from the University of Madras.

She is also a Mridangam artist & Bharathanatyam dancer. Had her initial training from Late Sri Trichy Raghava Iyer, Sri TS Nandakumar & is presently learning under Sri Mannargudi A Easwaran.

Poornima is learning Bharathanatyam from Smt Jagruti Mehta & Sri Kalishwaran Pillai & had the previlege of learning under Late Sri. Kalaimamani Kadhirvelu Pillai.
