Sahana has participated and won prizes in many competitions such Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, was a finalist in Carnatic Idol USA, won the tanpura prize in Sr Ariyakkudi and KVN Trust, and many more. She also plays western violin and recently started Carnatic violin as well.
